1. Accountant (Vacancies 03)
Applications are invited from the qualified candidates for the post of Accountant.

External qualification |
Higher National Diploma in Accountancy or Intermediate level qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) or Intermediate level qualification of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants(CIMA) or Intermediate level qualification of Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA) or Degree in Management or Commerce. and At least three (3) years post qualifying experience in accounting and finance in managerial capacity in a Government Department/Corporation/Board or a reputed Mercantile Establishment
Note: - Exposure to computerized accounting environment is a distinct advantage.

Being an employee with minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a post in Junior Manager category grade 1 in the field of Accounts |
Salary scale: - MM 1-1-2016-Rs.53175 – 10 x 1375 – 15 x 1910 – 95575

2. Registrar (Vacancies 01)

Degree in the relevant field recognized by UGC with minimum 01-year experience after the degree in the field of the post. |

Having obtained the qualification required by the external candidates above or Completion of minimum five (05) years satisfactory service in a relevant post in the JM category. |

3. Hostel Warden (Vacancies 01)
Applications are invited from the qualified candidates for the post of Hostel Warden.

External qualification |
(a) Should have passed in the GCE O/L Examination in 06 subjects in not more than 02 sittings with Credit Passes to
1. Sinhala/Tamil/English Language 2. Mathematics And 3. Two other subjects.
(b) Should have passed all the subjects (except General Paper) at GCE A/L. However, it is sufficient to pass in 03 subjects at one sitting under old syllabus. And (c) Should have successfully completed a study course in Information Technology /Typist/Stenography |

Employees in the SLIATE service who have satisfied educational qualifications indicated in 5.1.1 (a) and (c) above and completed 05 year’s service in minor grades. |
Salary scale: - MA 1-2- 2016 - 27,910 – 10 x 300 – 7 x 350 – 12 x 710 - 49,080
Note: In addition, government approved allowances will be paid.

Conditions of Service: -
- Selected candidates will become the contributors to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contributing 10% of their earnings and the SLIATE contributing 15% of their earnings from its funds and also contributing 3% of their earnings to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
- Age limit is below 45 years for all categories. However, it will not apply for those who are in the permanent cadre in the Public/State sector.
- Applicants in Government Departments, Corporations and Statutory Boards should submit their original applications with the recommendation of Head of respective Institutions.
- Selected applicants holding pensionable post in Government Departments will have to obtain their release through the Director General of Establishments. However, they will not be entitled to pension rights whilst in the service of the SLIATE.
- Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview.
- The employees are not eligible for transfers from the appointed location until 06 years’ from the date of appointment.
The original application with a set of certified copies of the certificates should be submitted at the interview.
